Short Text: The program begin or end date for the sLIPA is not within the DPI school year.
Long Text: The program begin or end date for the sLIPA is not within the DPI school year. These dates must fall between 7/1 and 6/30 of the relevant school year.
Business Rule Logic: Throw on Program (on Student detail screen the error should show on program panel based on program type and validation message grid should show Program type and name for this rule) If Program Type is Language Instruction Education and program begin date or end date is not within DPI school year.
How to Fix: This error appears if the begin or end date submitted for a student's language instruction program association falls outside the dates defined for the DPI school year. To correct this issue, change the date that falls outside of the school year to fall within the school year.
Example: District Deb receives an error that Ralph's language instruction program association's begin or end date is not within the DPI school year. She checks Ralph's record and finds that the begin date is before the beginning of the school year. She corrects the date and re-submits the program association to clear the error.
