Long Text: Incorrect Program Reference submitted on the record with CTE Concentration details. Program reference 'Career and Technical Education' should be submitted for CTE concentration details.
How to Fix: This error will display when you've submitted a student as a CTE Concentrator but didn't put Career and Technical Education in as the program. Students with CTE concentration details should be submitted as associated to a Career and Technical Education program. Verify whether or not the student is submitted as a CTE Concentrator and has the correct courses to be so. If yes, remove the invalid Program Reference and enter a Program value of Career and Technical Education.
Example: District Deb spots an error on Rick's record that he has CTE concentration data but the wrong Program Reference. Deb verifies that Rick is indeed a CTE Concentrator associated with CTE programs and, therefore, needs the CTE Program Reference. Deb removes the incorrect program and submits a value of Career and Technical Education to clear the error.
Business Rule Logic (2019-20 and later): Only run for Carl Perkins districts studentCTEProgramAssociation is submitted AND Cip code or program areas or career pathway exists AND programReference is other than 'Career and Technical Education' AND student grade is 11 or 12 on any of the primary enrollment in the school that submitted the SCEPTA for that school year.
NOTE: Primary school submits student concentrator details even if majority of CTE courses are taken at Non-Primary. Do not run this rule for non primary and add a high-level rule to reject nonprimary CTE summary records.
