Validation Error 7129

Message: DPI recommends 23.5 credits for graduation; however, the required number of credits for graduation is 15.

How to Fix: This error appears if the graduation plan submitted by a district does not include at least 15 credits, which is the Wisconsin minimum required number for graduation. These 15 credits must be a total of English + Math + Science + Social Studies + Physical Education, ad excludes credits of Health Education requirement fulfilled in grade/s 7 and/or 8. To correct this error, ensure that any high school in the district offers the correct number of credits in the above-mentioned subjects and that the credits are accurately reported on the graduation plan.

Example: District Deb sees an error that indicates that the graduation plan submitted by her district does not include at least 15 credits, falling short of the Wisconsin minimum for graduation. She investigates and determines there was an error in entering the graduation plan. She corrects the number of credits and resubmits the plan, which clears the error.

Technical Details

Business Logic: The credits submitted by LEA do not match Wisconsin's minimum requirement. The sum of all credits submitted <15
