Validation Error 7118

Message: Student WISEid is inactive. Continuing student enrollment is missing for the new WISEid for a transfer between different districts / CMOs / Choice Schools. To correct the error, the expected transfer district / CMO / Choice Schools needs to submit the continuing enrollment using the new WISEid.In the event that this error exists for a student who has two or more inactive WISEids the only means to resolve this error may be to have all districts/schools correct records to use the active WISEid

How to Fix: This error appears a student with an inactive WISEid and a new WISEid has an exit type indicating a transfer between districts but no continuing enrollment is found in WISEdata. To correct the error, contact the expected transfer agency to ensure they submit the student's continued enrollment using the new, correct WISEid.

Example: District Deb sees an error that indicates Sean, a student with an inactive WISEid, has an exit type of ETC but no continuing enrollment submitted for his new WISEid. Deb contacts the expected transfer district and finds that Sean's continuing enrollment was submitted using his inactive WISEid. The expected transfer district corrects the WISEid, clearing the error.

Technical Details

Business Logic: Throw on expected transfer District

Check this rule for only students with Inactive WISEid's.

Exit Type = ETC AND CST/(Term completion Indicator) = Y AND  Expected Transfer Response = S AND no subsequent Primary or PPP  has been entered by any district on or before TFS +2
If a record is PPP do not throw this error.

Note:2020 uses CST, 2021 forward is term completion. While checking for subsequent enrollment Primary and PPP are included as subsequent enrollment.
