Summary
- Message: Assignment 53-0050 is not valid if grade level is 09 or above and the school is a Combined Elementary/Secondary School. To remove invalid grades, ensure the correct grade is selected, then click the Run Validation button on the Edit Assignment page, or re-upload the assignment with only the correct grade(s)
- Cause: The maximum grade allowed for the Elementary Classroom Teacher assignment is Grade 8 when the working school is a middle, junior high, or high school.
- How to Fix: Verify the assignment type, working school, and grade level taught. If the working school and grade level are correct for the staff person's assignment, then a different assignment code must be selected.
- Option 1: Click the Edit Assignment button on the staff person's Edit Staff page, ensure that a valid grade is selected, then click the Run Validation button on the Assignment page. The system will remove the invalid grade(s) and clear the validation error.
- Option 2: Perform an assignment file upload with the valid assignment code, working school, and grade level.
