Validation Warning 7150
Message: Tribal affiliation is expected only for students with the race American Indian - Alaskan Native.
How to Fix: This warning appears if a student has a tribal affiliation submitted when their race or ethnicity was submitted as something other than American Indian or Alaskan Native. WISEdata only expects a tribal affiliation for American Indian or Alaskan Native students. Verify whether the student's race or tribal affiliation are documented correctly, then either correct the student's submitted race or remove the tribal affiliation.
Example: A student at District Deb's school has a warning on their record that a tribal affiliation has been submitted, but the student's race was not submitted as American Indian or Alaskan Native. Deb looks into the issue and determines that the student's race was entered incorrectly. She enters American Indian or Alaskan Native and resubmits the student's record, clearing the error.
Technical Details
Business Logic: Throw warning when tribal affiliation submitted with Race != American Indian - Alaskan Native. If multiple races are submitted, then the system checks whether one of them is American Indian - Alaskan Native, regardless of ethnicity.
