Short Text: The school district does not offer high school grade levels (9-12) and a Graduation Plan is not expected.
Long Text: A graduation plan submitted by the district is not expected. When the school district does not offer high school grade levels (9-12), and a graduation plan is submitted, then an error will be displayed. To resolve this error, the graduation plan must be deleted.
How to Fix: A graduation plan is not expected for grade levels K-8. Error 7443 would be received by a school/district that does not offer high school grade levels (grades 9-12). If a graduation plan was submitted by your school/district, ensure that you do indeed offer high school grade levels (grades 9-12). If your school does not offer high school grade levels (grades 9-12), then you must delete the graduation plan to clear the error.
Example: School Staff Member Saul receives Warning 7443, indicating that a graduation plan was submitted. Saul works at Hector-Layton School, which is a K-8 school. School Staff Member Saul realizes that a graduation plan was sent for the ‘graduating’ 8th-grade class. Error 7443 throws when a graduation plan was sent by a school/district not offering high school grade levels (grades 9-12). To clear the error, Saul deletes the graduation plan.
Technical Details:
Business Rule Logic: Throw when the LEAs only offer K-8 grade levels (or not 9-12) AND is sending a graduation plan.
