Subject: WISEdata Portal Update: 2021-22 School Year Removal

Hello,

Thank you for your efforts to make the recent WISEdata snapshot a success! Now that the data captured in the snapshot is final, the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) will be turning off the 2021-22 school year WISEdata API on February 20, 2024.

Impacts and Recommendations:
  • Download any data you need from the WISEdata Portal before the cutoff date. This may be of special interest to Choice schools that wish to download and save export files in lieu of access to WISEdash for Districts.
  • You will no longer be able to submit 2021-22 data from your primary SIS or other vendors after the February 20 cutoff date. While you likely completed the majority of your data corrections prior to the annual snapshot, we recommend that you make any necessary updates before February 20, 2024.
  • Verify your students are in the correct grade. Students who entered grade level 9, 10, 11, or 12 for the first time in a WISEdata school (public or Choice) during 2021-22 should be verified for correct grade placement to ensure their graduation cohort is correct for future reporting.

If you need additional guidance, please reach out to us by submitting a Help Ticket.

Also, as you prepare for all your 2024 school year tasks, we on the Customer Service Team are trying to prioritize our work and would like to make sure the training and documentation materials we provide are as helpful as possible. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey to help us prioritize our work based on your feedback.

Thank you for all you do!

Sincerely,

DPI Customer Services Team
