Short Text: The school is marked as closed in the current school year, but active student enrollments are still present for this academic year.

Long Text: The school has been marked as closed for the current school year; however, active student enrollments are still present for this academic year. If the closure is accurate, ensure that all student enrollments are removed from the WISEdata Portal.

How to Fix: This error displays when WISEdata detects active student enrollment records for a school that has been marked closed.

To fix:

  1. First, if the school closure is inaccurate (i.e., DPI sees your school as closed, but your school is open), the status of your school in the School Directory Public Portal must be changed.

    1. To have the status of your school changed, you must submit a Help Ticket. The person submitting this ticket must have the user role of “Directory Update” because this role signifies they have authority to request these changes.

  2. If the school closure is accurate, and your school is actually closed, DPI recommends following the best practice of removing all student enrollments from WISEdata Portal.

  3. If you do not know how to remove records from WISEdata Portal, please visit the WISEdata Portal Mini Tutorial on How to Remove a Record for the correct steps to take. You should also contact your SIS vendor tool representative for assistance.
