Hello Charter School Consortium Districts:
I’m writing to provide an update on resources for consortium charter schools.
Today, we have published the Consortium Charter School Cheat Sheet to our Charter School Resources webpage. The purpose of this document is to outline the general structures, roles, and responsibilities of school districts participating in a consortium charter school, also known as a multi-district charter school. There are additional links within this resource to provide more in-depth information on the various topic areas.
As a reminder, on June 19, the department will host a virtual Consortium Charter School 101 training session providing an overview of consortium charter school structures and requirements. This training will be recorded if you are unable to attend. The Consortium Charter School Meeting Schedule and Links document provides dates, times, and links for all upcoming opportunities. Additionally, the recording for the May 13 ESEA Application Update Overview meeting is included in this document and the recording for the Consortium Charter School 101 will also be added here.
