Validation Error 7154
NOTE: This Error will not be in effect past the 2022-23 school year. If will be replaced by Error 7460 for the 2023-24 school year and on. Changes were made to the Digital Equity Survey questions, Error 7460 follows the logic of Error 7154 but has been updated to match the changes in the Digital Equity Survey questions.
Message: Digital Equity data values submitted contradict each other. 'No-Other' was submitted for 'Internet Access In Residence' but 'Internet Access Type In Residence' value was something other than 'None' AND/OR Internet Performance in Residence submitted was a value other 'No'."
How to Fix: This error appears if the digital equity data submitted about a student's residential internet access is contradictory. If a student has the "No-Other" value for the Internet Access in Residence data element and a value for Internet Access Type in Residence or Internet Performance in Residence other than No/None, the data contradicts. Verify whether a student has residential internet access. If they do, update the Internet Access in Residence data. If not, change the Internet Access Type or Performance data to None or No.
Example: District Deb sees an error that indicates that the digital equity data submitted for Robert has a contradiction. She notes that the data says Robert has no internet access in his residence, but that a value other than "No" was submitted for internet performance in his residence. She verifies that Robert's home does not have internet access, then updates the internet performance data to "No" to clear the error.
