| Error 6806 Short Text: Invalid enrollment. Primary School flag is true but Enrollment Type is other than Primary and Membership
Long Text: Invalid enrollment. Primary School flag is true but Enrollment Type is other than Primary and Membership. If enrollment flag is Primary, Enrollment Type must be Primary or Membership. As submitted, this enrollment is invalid and will not be included for Third Friday of September or October 1 Child Counts, will not be included in Parent Placed Private counts, will not be included as non-primary Coursework, and will not appear in WISEdash. To correct the error, first, verify if the enrollment is primary or membership. If so, change the Enrollment Type to Primary or Membership. If not, choose an appropriate non-primary Enrollment Type, either Parent Placed Private (PPP) or Coursework.
NOTE: Starting with the 2023-24 school year, Error 6806 and Error 6813 are combined and replaced by Error 7455.
How to Fix: This error appears if a school is flagged as a student's primary school, but the student's enrollment type at that school is something other than Primary or Membership. To correct this issue, first, verify that the school is the student's primary school. If it isn't, then remove the Primary School flag. If it is, update the student's Enrollment Type to Primary or to Membership.
Example: District Deb receives an error that Sarah doesn't have an enrollment type of Primary or Membership at the school flagged as her primary school. Deb looks into the issue and sees that the school is Sarah's primary school, so she changes Sarah's enrollment type to Primary to clear the error.
Business Rule Logic: Error should show on SSA If isPrimary = true and enrollmentTypeDescriptor is PPP, Coursework, or missing, then throw the error. |
